Archer Wire McDonald's Storefront

Description:

Archer Wire International Corp. is a premier wire manufacturer based in Chicago. Among many other products, they make the deep fryer frybaskets used by McDonald's restaurants. McDonald's wanted to give their franchise owners a way to buy their frybaskets directly from the manufacturer.

Completed: March 2005

We worked on this project with the Chicago-based graphics design company, Dawn Design, owned by Dawn Peccatiello. Dawn created the graphics design for the site and developed the static pages. We developed the online store, integrating her design into our dynamic pages.

Only authorized McDonald's personnel are allowed to login to the store. We obtained permission from McDonald's to use screenshots to illustrate the project, provided that we remove the pricing information. We left the dollar sign "$" symbols in place to indicate where figures would normally appear, but removed all the numbers.
